Death - Leprosy - Pullover Hoodie

The product itself is great quality and my husband was pleased. Ordered 3x and he has room and it's comfortable. Unfortunately due to negative customer service care I gave a rating of 3. I was appalled by a response I received when I was told I wouldn't have in time for Christmas. I won't order again.

Death - Leprosy - Pullover Hoodie

Store owner replied: This item was a preorder that clearly indicated it would not ship until December. We don't state when in December, we simply say December because timelines can change and production schedules are subject to all kinds of variations outside of our control. We then have to have the product sent to our warehouse, where shipping times and import procedure timelines are also outside of our control. None of this should be surprising when dealing with a small business. We are not Amazon, and yet the customer had unrealistic expectations. Her initial email was a one liner... "Am I going to have my husband's Christmas present on time for Christmas?" No "hello", no "please", no "thank you". We explained that it would be sent before Christmas, but because of the type of shipping they selected we could not guarantee a delivery date. We are, after all, not the postal service and do not hand deliver the packages ourselves. The customer responded, which was once again extremely short... "Then I don't want it. Cancel order and issue refund. Extremely disappointed and will never order again from you." We wrote back saying we were also disappointed, but in the lack of understanding given that we are a small company doing our best, and that we are in fact not the postal service. The customer was given the option to pay for express shipping to ensure the item would arrive in time for Christmas, and they were also told our refund policy. Our responses to both of the messages we received from this customer were polite. They did not write back after being given the express shipping option and refund policy details.  So if the customer was "appalled" by the response they received, perhaps it is a reflection of their unrealistic expectations given that we actually took the time and effort to carefully and politely explain things.
